Q:
When did you first become a fan of F1?

Kiri:
I first became a fan of F1 when I was about 17, my boyfriend at the time was obsessed with Michael Schumacher so I started watching the races too and suddenly realised that I really liked it. Reubens was the other Ferrari driver at the time and so I started cheering him on for a bit of banter.

Q:
What was your first connection with intentsGP?

Kiri:
My first contact with intents was on twitter I think, I joined the mailing list as it sounded interesting and I still hadn’t managed to get myself to a race yet! I then received an email asking about working for IntentsGP and the rest is history!

Q:
When did you start working for intentsGP?

Kiri:
My first event was in 2013 at the British F1 Grand Prix. It was a great experience!

Q:
What's it like?

Kiri:
It’s Brilliant! Of course It’s hard work but considering you get food, shelter, good company and get to see the race it’s hard to think of any negatives. I was bit daunted being there on my own not knowing anyone to begin with but everyone has a similar interest so I felt very relaxed very quickly. The pit crew are a great bunch and I could not wait for the next event!

Q:
You had the chance to meet Reubens Barrichello. What was he like?

Kiri:
He was just as nice as I’d always imagined he’d be, even though I interrupted the Brazil football match in the Whittlebury Hall bar at about midnight (freaky turn of events) he happily met me and had the picture taken. I had to wait for a minute because the football got quite exciting and Brazil were on the attack so I ended up crouching down out of the way next to the chair he was sitting in! It was a bit surreal but it was amazing, I will never forget it.

Q:
You are pictured with several F1 drivers on our website. A number of them stay at the Whittlebury Hotel during the Grand Prix weekend so Whittlebury campers have a great chance to meet them. What were they like?

Kiri:
As you can imagine it’s very exciting when you see any driver but if you get to see a few of them then it’s really quite fun, I have met so many now but Valtteri Bottas is a really nice guy so he’s a bit of a favourite. I met Maurizio Arrivabene (the Ferrari Boss) last year he was great with the fans. A lot of the drivers take time to see the fans waiting for them when they arrive back to the hotel, it’s really hard to get that close to any of the drivers inside the track so it really is an amazing opportunity.

Q:
And now you really into MotoGP as well?

Kiri:
Yes well that’s thanks to some very dear friends I met at my 1st intents event! I thought I’d pop over to Silverstone to see the campsite at the MotoGP with Intents and also catch up with my friends. I really liked the MotoGP crowd they were great fun. I didn’t go into the race that 1st year but I went to Assen in 2014 with intents for my 1st MotoGP race and then on to Silverstone. I managed to meet and get pictures with my favourites Valentino Rossi and Scott Redding the 1st time I went in 2014, then in 2015 I had the pleasure of being front row on Valentino’s grandstand when he won! I’m now almost as obsessed with the Motogp as I am with the F1!

Q:
Bet you are just slightly excited about the 2016 F1 and MotoGP seasons? What are you looking forward to the most?

Kiri:
I can’t wait for this season to start, there are so many things to look forward to it’s almost impossible to think what I’m excited about most ! I’m really hoping that Ferrari have closed the gap to Mercedes and we can see a proper fight for the title this year with and then with the MotoGP I’m hoping for Valentino’s 10th world title!

Q:
Will we be seeing you at intentsGP 2016?

Kiri:
HaHa Just you try and stop me! I will definitely be there with familiar faces and hopefully some new ones having a fabulous time. Intents is part of my life now and I can’t imagine not being there. My only regret is that I didn’t discover working with Intents GP sooner!
