If I place a booking with you, what happens next?
Why is there a damage/security deposit?
Our tents are expensive beasts and on very rare occasions they do get damaged so this is just to protect our investments. Rest assured that as long as everything is okay, we shall quickly return your deposit to you within a week of the event finishing. We will do so by the same means that you paid ie if you paid by card we will return the deposit to the same card.
Are tent prices dependent on the number of campers?
Which nights does my rental include?
You generally have the choice of up to four nights: Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday. The minimum booking is for two nights. If you would like to stay for longer, each additional night will be charged at £30 per tent for a budget tent or a standard 2 person tent, £60 for a 4 person tent and £120 for an 8 person tent. We will be at the circuit on Race day, Qualifying, Practice and Pre-Practice night. In addition, at the Belgian F1 Grand Prix you can stay on Wednesday night in order to be ready for the pit lane walk/driver autographs (subject to confirmation) on Thursday. For the Isle of Man TT you can book for much longer periods.
What if I want to stay just one night?
For a number of events you are very welcome to stay just for one night but our minimum booking is for two nights.
Will I be able to park my car next to my tent?
Yes mostly. The only proviso if the ground is very muddy then we may have to have the vehicles in a separate parking area to stop the ground being churned up. You will still be able drop off all your belongings and your car will only be a stone’s throw away in a drier area. At the Isle of Man TT, your vehicle(s) will be in a car park right next to our camping area. This is less than a stone’s throw away.
What about noise levels?
My booking finishes on Race Day Morning. What happens re my car and belongings?
When can we arrive at your campsite?
What time is breakfast available?
What about the icepacks?
What if I find a problem with my tent when we arrive?
Will you be set up at the circuit or off site?
Is the cost of circuit entrance included?
Do I pay for my own campsite ticket?
How do I find you?
Do you sell alcohol?
Yes we plan to for the F1 race at Whittlebury although not for the MotoGP and Classic. Whittlebury will have a wide range of establishments that do so on the campsite ranging from the beer tent, bars right through to sit down restaurants. For the Belgian F1 Grand Prix, we shall be selling alcohol in the clubhouse bar.
Do you sell food/is there a shop on site?
Breakfast is included in your package and we can also provide hot and tasty evening meals at very competitive prices. There are also a range of food outlets on the Whittlebury campsite. There are also facilities to buy basic goods such as bread and milk. We provide more precise information for each event in the details we send to our guests about a week before the event. For the Belgian F1GP, there won’t be any grocery outlets on site but there are grocery stores, bars, cafes and restaurants in all the surrounding towns.
Can we cook our own food?
We provide communal BBQs at all our events for you to cook your own food if you wish.
You can bring your own BBQs to the MotoGP, Classic and WEC as long as they are off the grass and positioned at least 2 metres away from the tents.
You are not permitted to use your own BBQs at the British and Belgian F1GPs and the Isle of Man TT. This is stipulated by the campsites we use.
Should I bring bedding?
Is there power in the tent?
Are there hair dryers/power sockets in the bathrooms?
Are there cash points at the campsite?
Not at the Whittlebury campsite but there are at the Silverstone circuit. For the Belgian F1GP, there are cashpoints in the local towns but not on our campsite. For the Isle of Man TT we are very close to cashpoints.
First time at a Grand Prix and first time glamping! Could not have been more pleased. In the build up to the weekend, communication was clear, honest and thorough (bear in mind this was a first event of its kind post covid) At the event, the tent and facilities both fabulous. Toilets and showers kept clean. Staff great especially when my son lost his wallet on site and they had to post it back! Loved the emphasis on quiet at night to enable folks to sleep. It all felt very organised and friendly.
Location is fantastic. Truly just a 15 min walk to Silverstone.
The staff were amazing and they all worked very hard with very long hours
